made a start on project bike kids want this morning.

its a marauder, and plans came from atomic zombie.

my eldest girl is doing most of welding as its her first time on big project, frame is slightly out but nothing dad and big brother cant sort.

youngest two are responsible for starting bandsaw etc.

she got it to point of fitting head tube today, and cutting another frame for adjustable crank housing. but not much more as other things on

will add more pics later in week.

plans are great very easy to follow, no cutting lists just measurements as you go, but my girl as only queried couple of bits on them.

yes its an adjustable crank.
our lass is buying the plans for a side by side tandem
of course thats not kids shed that ones waterproof theirs isnt

kids have loved doing and are now on look out for more bikes to build different ones.

I asked an Irish fella in the pub for steel framed bikes for a few quid and he saved a few for me and even let me pick them up. I got 5 bikes for 20squid and a gas bottle for a burner
