Hi all, Hope someone can help. I have an 8mm drill bit stuck in the aforementioned chuck. No matter how much I twist the collar, The thing won't open to release said bit. Does anyone know how to get this open without resorting to an angle grinder!!!

I managed, after a cup of coffee, a cigarette and a bit of a think, The chuck is on a morse taper so it was drifted out and the flat end was put in a vice, quick twist, and it was free! On closer inspection, the collar grub screw had worked loose and wasn't stopping the quill from rotating when it should have.
