Wow months...this is worse than when i quit smoking thisNot me but my friend has been on it for a few months. It took a while to get used to it, but he's lost his cravings for carbs. Lost a fair bit of weight too.

The problem is i eat really healthy and need to due to my job,meat,fish,veggys and fruit and rarely eat breads,pastas or pastry's..its the amount i eatThere are a lot of faddy diets out there but weight watchers works really well. My wife follows it and I sort of do too but the old system rather than the new one. It has encouraged us to eat a healthy well balanced diet without starving yourself. Nothing is missed out.
We keep away from ready meals when possible and try to make meals from the base ingredients.
Gentle exercise and don't cabbage in front of the telly.

i still think i am 30 and feeding on 4000 to 5000 calories a day but at 57 its just not working out any more. So going for a ECU re-boot with this 7 day thingy and then i am going to eat every other day like a wild animal and hopefully try bring my weight down a tad..

What amazes me is everytime i look at old black and white photos or movies its very hard to spot a fat person or should i say large person...Carbohydrates and refined sugars are killing us and whats bizarre is we don't even need themI did the Atkins diet a few years back, It really does work if you are ultra strict with the carbs in the beginning, It does get some bad press for the non balanced food intake etc, Suited me at the time, Eggs,bacon,cheese,steak,, just my sort of food, Think I lost around three stones quite quickly, but it does rely on very low carbs to work, No cheating, your body will know!!! And not respond as it should,
