help required, lol, just purchased a kendi mag in spares and repairs, i think the pcb is shot, there is power into the board but nothing going out, wire feed motor tested fine trigger opens and closes curcuit, had blown fuse, f 3.15a l 250v top right replaced fuse and nothing out of board, the unit powers up and fan comes on, unit is nearly new, any ideas apart from launching it, where can i purchase a new board, what bothers me is what caused the board to fail, everything else looks ok, my trike project needs it lol

I've moved this to a better section.
Unless you can repair it yourself at component level PCB repairs on that would most likely be uneconomical unfortunately. I'd imagine an electronics repairer wouldn't even look at it for less than £40 or so, probably considerably more.
How much did you pay for the machine?

not a lot

only paid £50.oo for it so dont mind spending a bit on it, it looks like its been dropped as there is a big dent where the gas bottle goes, apart from that its mint, normaly there is a wiring diagram inside most covers, but nothing in this then again, there is not a lot to them, i was quite supprised, a diagram would be helpfull, cant see anything obvious, no burnt wiring, all looks good, im ok with elecktricks, but not down to resistor level, just know when a board is down as im an air con engineer, but im sure somone out their will have some ideas, i hope,

Possibly he threw in the towel, acquired a decent welder and, well... got on with welding?
Those Kende units did seem plagued with issues back then, with zero support.

Best to start a new thread anyway, detailing your problem.

This is a very simple board that only has a main transformer on and a wire feed speed control. It can be easily replaced with any other than a semi-automatic transformer.
