Kemppi pro inox 500/4000?

I like Kemppis from the mid 2000's up like the mls2300 and pro evolution 4200 I have previously briefly run.

I saw the machine below for sale locally and it kinda interests me (but not at the price the guy is asking) im guessing the vintage of this thing is probably mid to late 90's? Its deff pre 2000 to my mind.

I think pro evolutions were more a mid 2000's machine so this thing must be earlier it has a similar control panel but doesnt have double pulse like the pro evolutions had and probably first of the kemppi's to use those synergic 1-mig programs that they use almost to this day (they went to all those ipad type displays for kiddies on the recent machines).


Has anyone run one of these old pro inox machines before??

Again if it was a pro evolution in good nick id be all over it but this thing just looks a bit too on the antique side to me to bother with......

This machine is so old I could only find the manual in german....

Im still sort of trying to figure out what the actual difference between this machine and the normal promig 500 or evolution machines... So far I have figured out that this seems to be the first proper modular top end machine kemppi put out. The promig 500's have this horrible massive water cooler that sits off to the side as it was too big to stick under like the inox and evolution machines.

The only other real difference im noticing between the inox and evolution 4200 is the lack of double pulse on the inox (slightly more power on the evolutions too). I would also like to find a synergetic program list for the inox sadly its not in the manual like it seems to be in the evolution 4200 model manual. Im guessing the promig 500's had less stainless programs otherwise why would they bother bringing this machine out with the specific INOX branding?

Other than parts (or the unlikely potential for it to completely grenade itself) I dont see too many downsides to purchasing this machine. The rollers are readily available they are even on aliexpress for cheap. It uses a standard euro mig torch connector. Even saw a new control panel for sale somewhere on the net everything looks fairly standard fare on it really. Its just the price.....
