I used a kemppi mma welder for years.. and it got stolen
so i need to find me myself a new welder.. so i got on the interwebs.. and found out about the kemppi minarcMig 170 and the 200 .. so i googled them and got stranded here. I found out some people had problems welding aluminum with the 170 .. no worries i want to go for the 200 anyway's
how ever.. those posts keep hunting me. and now i'am not really sure anymore..
sooo i am wondering is there a better machine for me, or did i already found it on the kemppi website
my budget for the basic machine is about 1100 pounds (600-800 pounds would be better *duh*) and this is what i want to be able to do with the machine:
- use it semi pro.
- weld up to 7 mm steel
- weld up to 4/5 mm aluminum (different wheels or tips don't have to be included yet)
- weld on car panels and other thin sheet metal.
The machine must be mobile.. and with mobile i mean i must be able to pick it up and put i in my car by my self (or carry it up the stairs) so 25 kg or less is a MUST. if its even less then than 15 kg it would be the best.
- if its a brand that's active on the mainland in Europe it would be a plus..
I love my tools... and i'am kind of a brand freak.. so cheap cr*p from china.. is not welkom in my shed
tnx in advance
