kemppi 320 mig advise

Hi guys yesterday i started my level 2 C&G mig welding and the machine i have been allocated a kemppi kempomat 320 mig.

Before my next lesson im trying to learn all the settings for the machine im fine with thewire speed setting but im a bit confused by the voltage switch's as theres 2 1 is coarse grading and 1 is fine coarse.

Any ideas of how these work?

I'm not familiar with the Kemppi but they usually work like this :

The coarse adjustment might have say 5 steps - 18-21V, 21-24V, 24-27V etc.

The fine adjustment fills in the gaps ie +0 to +3V

So 20V is 18-21 on the coarse and 2 on the fine, 25.9 is 24-27 on the coarse and 1.9 on the fine etc.

Does it have digi displays ?

And don't be afraid to ask the tutor !
