Hi,
Many years ago, as a draffy I had a Davy Standards book, it had Keep Plates sizes in.
I can't find a BS standard for keep plates, and google doesn't throw anything up. Any suggestions.?
p.s.
Keep plates are used to stop a shaft floating axially and in rotation.
It is rectangular and bolted to the housing the shaft is in.
It's usually used in bigger fabrications, and, for my current application, the pivot shaft at the end of a hydraulic cylinder.
thx
Howard
