Can't believe I didn't post this picture or own up to making such a messy mistake.

I was a clever B****** when I took mine apart & did some homework first to find out many people end up with oil going everywhere!

Thought I'd finish this off with a shout out to eSpares.co.uk who have been superb. Super fast delivery, ultra cheap prices.

The holster cost about three quid iirc. A fiver with delivery and it turned up in no time. Finishes off the repair nicely.

Now I can clean the van in preparation for a ton more welding...

<edit> at least I hope it's "finished". Soon find out if motorcycle engine oil is ok for the pump mechanism!

Well done - i had a very similar unit - took off the bolts, and, same as you, cylinder head and oil all came out.

That weekend i was off down lidl buying a new unit....

(mine was a smaller unit and i was never that impressed with it anyhow, so i wasnt going to spend more time and effort on it!)
