Just a little spider...

My daughter's pet tarantula died (I know, I know), but she loved it anyway. So I made this little fella for her out of ball bearings, a cut off bolt ground to shape and some steel rod. Rusted it with salt water bath so it would look kinda fuzzy cuz the live one was disgustingly fuzzy.

Man, I don't dig spiders.

That one's particulary bad as tredding on it wouldn't squash it and might hurt your foot.

At least you didn't give the horrible thing fangs.

My daughter said it just quit eating and sorta curled up and basically quit living. I doubt if there are any tarantula veterinarians nearby. Even if James Herriot were still alive, I can't remember him expressing any interest in spiders. She had it for 4 or 5 years so she really does miss it. Loves the one I made for her!

Female Tarantulas can live 15+ years and as long as 40 years for some varieties, it must have been a male.
