Joy reversing Valve Gear

Hi all,

Have tried Google without success so was wondering if anybody had any information on the Joy Reversing Valve Gear as utilised on the River Don Steam Engine?

For anybody that's never come across this engine search for it on Youtube, 12000 HP steam engine that could go from full chat forwards to full chat backwards in 2 seconds!

When I last was at Kellam I'm sure it was on steam @ about 10psi ? but that was before the floods did the boiler get knocked out?

I last visited Kelham a few years ago and it was on air then.
