I have used Jotamastic 90 rather than 87, but they are similar products. Not sprayed it but it goes on lovely with a brush or roller.
Friends of mine run a drydock company and airless spray narrowboat hulls, although recently have mainly being using a roller the spray is not worth the clean-up time.
I have, many times, sprayed Jotamastic 90 through an old dilvibiss gun. No more than 10% thinners usually around the 30psi mark.
I put a fair bit on and its very "orange peely" when it goes on, but it flows out lovely. That said, its easy to over do it and get runs like this.
But as above, my usual method is brush on, roller straight away. Then leave for 1-15 mins and roller again. There will be no brush marks visible, just a orange peely finish that looks like its been sprayed.
