I recently acquired a small vice in pretty good condition, I suspect originally of a surface grinder. I am hoping it will be fine for light cuts on my mill as the locking tapers are quite substancial.
Some minor surface rust from coolant I expect.
Strip down reaveled some rust staining of swiveling joints:
Cleaned up fasteners in hot evaporust:
started cleaning up parts:
Overall pretty good condition, when cleaning off old paint I see it was originally blue, though am tempted to go with Tom Senior green.
Thought I would get more done today, though ended up fitting a new kitchen sink waste and fitting new discs and pads to my brothers Grand Vitara, the the lower caliper sliders were jammed and took a while to clean up.
