JIS Bits in a socket

The Laser 7724 seems to be the only one that comes up.

Please be aware that they are 5/16" hexagon and not 1/4" hexagon, so it is an old style hit-with-a-hammer impact driver they are talking about not a shove-an-18v-battery-into-its-bottom impact driver.

Laser also do a tee bar hex driver and bits, there's listings on ebay.

Might be worth buying a proper set of jis screwdrivers. Vessel on ebay about 34 quid, or Sealey for half that

You can get 1/4" 3/8" and 1/2" drive bit holders to take 1/4 5/16 and 10mm hex bits without to much bother I have quite a few .

Koken would do them as well as individual 1/4 or 5/16 hex bits and separate holders in 1/4, 3/8 etc square drive.

Also if you have a Japanese hand impact driver then you will already have the bits and socket in either 3/8 or 1/2 square drive.

Without wanting to disappear down a rabbit hole, I think it would be difficult if not impossible to buy new JIS standard screwdrivers.

Even Vessel don't use the old JIS standard anymore, they use a new hybrid standard that covers Phillips and the old JIS standard.

I think the original JIS screwdrivers worked better in JIS screws but the new ones work pretty well too.
