I have posted on the forums about these before but this is where i am now. when i put these pans through the jenny. the radius ends create a bend so i made the steel jig and cut a piece of 10mm ali chequer plate to form the middle and mounted the ali middle on the miller bed and plead the steel jig on top and clamp down to flatten the job.
The question is would it be worth my while continuing with the jig and turn it into a press tool for the fly press.
the job is 33" long 10" wide Im i being a little optimistic to think the fly press would be capable of stamping these out.
The material will be 2.5mm marine grade ali (so good stuff but i will anneal) If i can do a good job on these pans there is a market for them but they have to be mark free.
They are fitted to the boat with 198solid rivets each side so they will pull down when fitted.
