Jefferson mini arc welder 145

Hi has anyone heard of Jefferson or is it some sort of Chinese machine? Seen one cheap and thinking of getting it. Just don’t want to end up buying something that isn’t reasonable

Yes, it is some sort of Chinese machine - almost everything these days is!
Jefferson are a distributor, not a manufacturer.
Basically if it gets the job done and lasts a year - for the duration of the warranty, then anything more is a bonus.
However, at a price of £239 from "moleavon.co.uk" it is expensive, especially compared to the ubiquitous ZX7-200 ( see reviews on this Forum ).

just get a used buzz box....a simple transformer with a fan....try and find a heavy one....they have copper windings...
mine years old 160amp model still works....
Bonus point...no electronics....

I paid about 150 euros for a 130 amp jefferson when I dropped my parweld of a roof and had to finish the job still going 3 years later
