So with a 5 year warranty the Jasic TIG 180 looked to be a tempting machine. After an Internet hunt to find prices I had some figures to work with and a search found a local supplier.
The Jasic welders are built under licence for wilkinson star and yes they are made in China.
So this is what you get for about £450
About a 4M wp17 torch, 3M Earth lead, gas regulator and a snap fit hose from set to regulator.
So far it look ok and is very light and compact.
