Jasic pro 180 or rtech 160

I'm stuck between either machine my decider I think will be pedal control. Does the jasic or the rtech allow amperage controll on the pedal.


And is there anything else I should consider cheers.

I believe both offer amperage control on pedal. I've not heard great stuff about the RTech pedal mind there are a couple threads around suggesting they ain't the best. Don't know how good the jassic one is. I would imagine both models are pretty comparable so it would be down to local support, warranty deals, price and your favourite colour.

Imo Jessica is the better made plant
Check out the iP protection level sometimes it tells a tale about build quality.
Jessica are the premier builder of welding plants in China and both sets are made in China

I'm looking at dc only as its cheap enough to earn itself back and more. Then I will probably eventually by an acdc. I do little exotic metal if I'm honest so its not a major concern.

Most exotic metals are welded in DC such as Titanium, stainless, inconel etc so your covered with those. It's really only aluminium and magnesium you need AC for.

it would appear the jasic doesn't have facility for a pedal but the r-tech does...

A pedal is pretty pointless on a DC machine IMO. Save the cash.
