Jasic mig 250

I'm looking at buying this welder

This input amps says 20amp so would this run on an a 20amp breaker.

Also whats peoples opinions on them.

We run 3 (2 old style and 1 newer one) at work and have had very little issue with them, they weld nice. So much so I bought the 270a version with the separate wire feeder for my workshop which is an entirely different beast. The warranty is hard to ignore too but my local dealer are spot on.

What size plug do you run them on

32a. Ignore the 20a inlet current. The 250 will easily pull 32a, the 270 probably should be on a 63a tbh

Before you press the buy button on the Jasic 250 consider the Autostar 250, basically the same internals as the Jasic, made in the same Chinese factory, both distributed by Wilkinson Star ltd Manchester. The latest Autostar also incorporates a inductance control. It's smaller than the Jasic but still has the option to run 15kg rolls.
Granted it has 3 year warranty, the Jasic a somewhat ..... Read the small print 5 years.
And forgot to mention the Autostar is over £200 less.

The 250 jasic has inductance control, its a knob in above the wire feeder.

That’s our website and it clearly needs updating. As Dan says you’ll wanna stick that in a 32A supply to get full tilt out of it.
Updating that is straight onto the to do list.
