Jasic 200P, long term experience?

I'm about to by myself a TIG pulse machine, so I have the opportunity to also weld alu. I think Jasic is a well known chinese brand by now, and that the 200P machine have been on the marked for a long time now?
The price is about £440 on aliexpress. Without footpedal which I can do without?
Any opinion is appriciated!

you'll probably get mixed opinions (though most will likely be similar to mine) and my opinion is avoid like the plague.

is that even a european site? does it ship direct from china? what is the shipping, they often pop up on ebay with about £400 then £250 postage, shipping direct from china, i've heard of people buying the cheaper DC tigs and plasma cutters like that and then opening them up and to find they don't even work fresh out of the box, and there is no after sales support and almost imposable to get your money back.

plus you can weld aluminium with out a foot pedal, but i wouldn't recommend it, really you need abit more power at the start for a few seconds then backing down a little bit, then tapering off at the end, especially if you are welding to an edge, you can get that taper off ok with the slope down function, but it's much easier and better with a pedal i very rarely tig weld with out a pedal.

basically though an ac/dc 200-220amp tig should cost £1000-1100 minimum, if it's cheaper than that i'd steer well clear unless there is a good reason (demo unit with full warranty) as it's most likely a direct from china box with no support if anything goes wrong, and something probably will go wrong.

and a good 200-220amp ac/dc tig from well known brand will cost more like £2500 minimum with the pedal.
