incredible that the gov keep having these little digs at the common man earning a few quid on ebay etc whilst they ignore the fact that ebay are based in luxembourg and are avoiding millions
It looks like the £20 I got off my mates dad, which I tried to refuse but he insisted on paying me anyway for putting a deadbolt on his gate, is going to have to go in my 'other' bank account in the Cayman Islands.
The government can tell me a lot of things and I will take note but when it comes to morals they need to get their own house in order first. Maybe it's because my £20 won't be paying for their campaign come election time. Coke, adidas, macdonalds are all offered tax breaks as major sponsors of the olympics, things are tight enough for most people without taxing the only thing you sometimes have left at the end of the week.
On a more serious note I bet I'm not the only person on here that likes my greens. Most companies I work for drag their arses paying invoices, two months I would say is close to the average it takes from getting the work out. So when someone wants to give me a couple of hundred quid upon completion I jump at it. It pays suppliers and puts diesel in the tank, at the end of the day it goes in the bank or through the accounts anyway. There have certainly been times since I started that without cash jobs I would have had serious cash flow problems, sorry Dave but you can ****ing whistle.
