Cleared out ready for a sectional garage door to be fitted on Friday. LED panel removed because that is exactly where the drive track gets fitted.

The negative to the job is that I will have to find an easy way to protect it when spraying.

Don't forget they will require a socket on the ceiling to plug the motor into assuming it's an automated door.

It's all outside under covers for now! The workshop is still not shipshape yet from the shop clearance, lots of workshop use items still to pass on which aren't allowed to be shown here.

Yes, I have just finished doing that for the new doors at home. Makes more sense to test it on an extension lead and do it nicely once the work is complete.

Many years ago I had a similar lift, think it was a Mobylift , the biggest problem was storing it

When I bought it, a very expensive three phase single post lift. Nowadays they are much more available and in single phase. The beauty of it is that I can put a car in, slide the lift underneath, lift it and then pull it back into the storage position with the car on it. I can also get it outside to use in the fresh air. There is a pallet truck type handle at the back which allows it to roll or sit flat.

This is a similar modern version...
