I cant find the maker of the machine i know it is italian made. The one of the image is an amex, mine can be the same.
I post a image of a better cared machine bit i have the same machine mine has a euro conector ( i think it was applied later on the machine).
The machine has a single phase 220v and 3 phase 380v.
It´s a full wave rectifier, was 2 trasnformers (one of the is an auxiliary transformer (220v/380v to 24vac)
My problems are:
1- no schematics
When i turned the machine on the were not action on it (it has no fan) smoke was coming out of the machine , the 220/380v to 24 v 25va transformer was the cause.
I removed the secondary transformer(24vac).
I talked to a repair person that said that it was strangle that the transformer burned. He said that the machine should have a short somewhere else. I talked about the rotary switch.
Any online video about checking the machine?
Funny thing when pluged i detect voltage on the conectors of the fan even when not switch for 220v or 380v. Another thing is the mig torch i open it and it had 3 wires one of them disconnected the others 2 where conected to the trigger. Never seen a 3 wire mig torch. Maybe for a potenciometer???
