Making a new welding bench to accommodate my tool boxes underneath to try and free up some space in the shed...
I finally got to the point where after 20 mins with the tig I decided this needed to be quicker so plugged the mig back in.
I love tig welding but there is a lot to be said for the quickness of mig, especially for tacking up...even with gasless wire the second end frame has taken half the time of doing the first with tig...plus I can weld out of position with the mig much more comfortably so less flipping of parts to get a better position
