Anyone got or used for a period of time any ISS stuff? Probably the hgv/plant/agricultural types....

Only heard of them through browsing toolshack.

Podgers/hammer wrenches seem to be well priced.
All of my podger spanners are Snail brand, great stuff, but i want a 19mm, im tempted to just get a snail so it matches the others

ISS? Rubbish.
Bought a set of podgers before christmas. Badly forged, jaws out of square, and the wrong size by a couple of mm - enough for the jaws to open over time. Podger ends roughly cast and poorly ground.
A million miles away from the rest of mine which are snail or King Dick.

Does it come from the Forest of Dean?
They have sheep badgers there as well.

its for lining up holes when bolting plates ect together . a long tapered spike with a spanner on the end

Spanner with a taper on the end, for aligning holes.

Its an open ended spanner, but with a gert spike as a handle. Used for lining up bolt holes before shoving the first bolt in. Used for steel erecting.
