Iskra Mig 150 power loss when welding

Hey everyone,
you guys seem really helpful and friendly, so i thought i might bring my "noob" question here
As i stated in the title my Mig 150 (ya, a 200€ welder) seems to lose power as i weld. When i start with the welder cold it does weld reasonably well on a power setting of 2, wire-speed around 4 out of ten. After a short time of welding the wire starts hitting the workpiece and i have to go down to a wire-speed of 2, to get it to weld again.
Could this be a problem with my power-supply (i'm in germany, so it is 230v with a 16a breaker)?

Not sure what and if an electrical issue could cause the problem so I guess I am leaning to a restrictive wire feed loosening up when the tip becomes hot and expands/opens up a bit.

When the welder has not been used and the torch etc is totally cold, does the wire feed through the tip easily or does it feel tight?

As I say...just a bit of guess work and probably wrong.

examine all the connections from the torch back to the rectifier for bad connections, weld until you start to lose power then turn off and feel the connections to see if any are heating up, if they are hot take them apart and clean them, if a bad connection heats up the connection will get worse
