I agree with Wozzaaah, weld up the small holes in your seam, then grind it all back like you have done, seam seal and paint and it will be fine for MOT purposes.
anywhere, local motor factors, halfrauds, even seen it in some diy shops.
Just be aware with cars that some MOT testers will want to check it all out. (especially if they failed it in the first place)
If you've repaired it before submitting for an mot, i.e. It hasn't yet failed the mot on corrosion, then heavy underseal is usually ok, as they will assume it is an old repair, and thus already passed inspection.
If it has just failed, and you're repairing it for retest, it's recommended that repairs are left untreated for the test so the tester can examine the repair - check weld penetration / security etc etc. (You then underseal afterwards)
It's always worth just asking the tester what he wants to see. Just bear in mind, an untidy weld may be perfectly strong and acceptable, but a marginally untidy weld which has been ground / filled / overpainted / covered in mud / etc will raise alarm and warrant futher inspection.
That said, make sure there's continuous seam around repair patches, and you should be fine with a quick coat of underseal applied carefully, as sometimes you can make a nice weld look lumpy with underseal because it's so thick.

The Land Rover hasn`t been mot`d yet, its just the plate in question im struggling with, i have plated the foot well as there were a couple of holes there as well, i have plated it from inside the car but i havent done a continious seam on them plates im not sure if i have to. i will fill the holes from the other side with filler then seal them with underseal.
Ill just keep welding and grinding until its done.

I would not use filler under the car! The MOT man won't like that if he sees it. Just weld the holes up to fill them and grind smooth, then seam seal and paint. I'm not a fan of "underseal" myself!
I'll second that, filler not a great idea. When the tester taps around, the tone will change and he'll reach for his magnet, and you'll be busted 
Welding up-side-down is never easy, especially if you aren't used to it. Weld a line, the wire brush it off. Any holes, either grind back and re weld a section (Grinding some good weld each side out so you can ramp each side of the weld and not end up with a massive build up) or, if it's just tiny bits that have missed, just patch in. (I tend to turn heat up a bit and 'play' with the weldpool to get it to sink in. - Especially handy when you've tacked a plate on and want to get the gap between tack and fillet neater)
How it looking at the moment? If you want to make it an invisible weld (not necessary under a car, but can be nice for finishing practice) then I'll second the flap disk approach, you can work down to the finer grades and get an awesome finish!
As for underseal..it can flake away a little, and trap moisture, getting you straight back to square one in no time. If you're gonna use it (and I love the stuff - nice and thick, no drip, put on with a brush), use fresh stuff, not stuff that's been sat in a tin for years!

Slap some zinc primer on until the mot, to stop all your hard work flash rusting
Thanks to you all for the helpful replies, i have got a few flap discs and also got a tin of seam seal, i will paint it after i have sealed it.
Im hopefully going to finish it this weekend so i will post some more pics to see what you think, im also going to put the landy on ramps so ive got a bit more height which may help

Good idea! This is what I would do.
Well ive been welding and dressing most of the afternoon, here is a pic of the weld that i have ground down and rewelded. The dressed weld is the weld that is in my previous pic. Im hoping after i dress the rest of the weld and seam seal and paint it will be ok for an mot.

Good job! Zinc prime, seam seal and paint that (say with chassis black) and the MOT man will not even notice that it has been repaired!
