is this type of bearing avail ? plus drill repair help

this is from a cheapie elec drill i abuse wire wheeling things

this sleeve bearing with ears on it is worn and letting the chuck slop around

is it something available..id like to patch it up if i can

size 12mm i.d ,19mm o.d 18mm long , top hat rim bit 24mm

ive found a oiled bronze one thats similar size..or a roller bearing but nothing to stop it spinning in the drill case...any advise what would be best as its clearly made with the cheapest tat that china had lol

i havent got the funds for a decent replacement

if i can get some more use for what looks under a fiver for a bearing then i will

Get the oilite one you've seen and file the flats on the flange, to match the old one.

so olite is more suited than a roller bearing(same price ish) thinking it might melt the plastic in the roller cage?

That's what happens to drills when you use them for something they were not designed for. Sideways pressure on the shaft will kill any plain bearing eventually but the oilite should outlast the original.

If you can find a parts diagram I have had good luck searching the part number. I replaced the box on my grinder this way, cost me all of $15

got one from simply bearings , came today and its all fitted and good as new (ish)
