owas Member Messages 2,353 Location Birmingham Aug 8, 2019 #21 Turned out it was 1/2" not 12mm Ended up chopping both pipes at the rubber section and using a barbed fitting to join the 2 double clamped, working perfectly. Not worried about slipping on a barb,the smooth pipe I don't think wouldve held up
