My German's not so hot, but i would say no. It looks like a wood cutting saw.
Be better looking for an abrasive chop saw. A second hand machine can be bought for not a lot of money.
here in Greece every machine cost a lot of money,we dont produce anything industrial, its not easy to find a used one & a new one would cost more than 400 euros
it would be very nice to have a tool in this price~130 euros to cut mild steel like tubes and box section max 3mm thick.you shold have better cuts with this than an angle grinder!!
Over in aus. we can get a makita or hitachi friction cutter (drop saw) for around $350 AUD so in uk and greece it converts to maybe ummmm thinking. 20 euro/or equivelent pounds. lol
I have also seen portable circular saws for metal. (I do use my t.c. tipped wood saw on aluminium quite happily by the way)
Circular saws for steel are nothing new and have been used for donkeys years particularly for billet steel albeit very slow speed and with coolant.
