Is this grease ok for wheel bearings?

Generic "toolstation" grease that i happen to have knocking about -

Front hub bearings on a landrover 110.

Says "high temperature" and "lithium" - that will do, wont it?

ps. i already have it here - so whilst im aware there will, undoubtedly, be some other premium alternative, what im asking is can i just use what i have and it will be just as good? : )

Yes it will be fine

So long as it is not full of sand or so old its dried out almost solid it should be OK
Landrover & other vehicle greases for the military was done to a spec . good for most climates , but usually made by the lowest tended bidder or a " Friend " of the purchasing group
Put a teaspoon of it on a bit of metal & wave a lit blow lamp over if it melts in half a second or so it's good to go

Also worth poking a tube in each swivel housing and topping up with gear oil, groil wont leak

Do they still have breather tubes or valves on the axles ? They'll likely need cleaning out too .

Ill worry about all of that kind of stuff once i have a ticket on it! : )

Right at the moment i just want it all back in one piece.

Probably cheaper than buying the proper EP00 grease Land Rover recommend

The key bit is EP2, I'd certainly slap it on my bearings and have done so in the past
