Wish I knew how to post a picture, I'd show you my neighbour's attempt at a bed repair of some broken PLASTIC legs with Gorilla glue. It wasn't pretty with more glue on the laminate floor. I did a good job of repairing it though with some wooden legs I made On the subject of cheap goods, I help out in a kart shop and some engines use a moped style starter motor. OEM price is a tad over £115.00. They do a Chinesium clone for about £35.00. The shop owner got me to fit one against my wishes. to a customers engine.
It failed after an hour of use. The result, I have to remove the engine and take out the faulty motor and temporarily fit one of my own genuine spares. I will then have to go through the same process when a better quality starter arrives. Any saving is completely negated. I look at the blurb of the cheap starter motor from the distributer. The warranty is just one month from placing the order and by the time they put it out for delivery, over three weeks elapse!!! It says it all about the quality. I just wish there were laws in place to stop these poor and sometimes dangerous and lethal goods being imported and sold here.
