Is this crimp connector the work of the devil

I took the back off the synchronous motor, no grease or lube at all

My heating uses Honeywell motor valves...they have a brass toothed arm that wears out on them. I'm always looking out for replacements on eBay...seem to get thro quite a few so maybe I should replace the valve gubbins too next time.
