is there a knock of angle grinder that takes milwaukee batteries?

Best get a Milwaukee M18 grinder. Mine has lasted 6 or so years and is fantastic. It did blow a bearing a few months ago and I repaired it myself.

ive seen the odd knock off /no name one when searching for m18 , not sure if they actually take an m18 or theyre jsut spamming the listing with words

its something i could go for , dont use all these tools enough to warrant getting them at milwaukee price

From your question I'm guessing you already have Milwaukee M18 batteries? Try one of the Fakita 18v grinders, I have one & it has been faultless. All you'll need is a Milwaukee M18 to makita lxt battery adaptor. Once you have that your world is open to a plethora of makita knockoff tools.

Just be careful that your M18 batteries have the over discharge protection built into the battery & not the tool, otherwise you could brick your batteries!

I don't worry about the over discharge thing, you can tell when the battery is running low, just put it on charge then.
