Is there a common PCD and wheel & tyre size for 3500 kg trailers?

I just spoke to a supply shop and they've said that the most common PCD is 5 x 6.5 & can be use on 12”/13”/16” wheels. Does this sound right? I've looked on ebay and all the trailer wheels are four bolt. Maybe thats for smaller trailers? Mines going to be a 3500kg.

Smaller trailers are mostly 4x100 on 8" or 10" rims.

Can you fit hubs that take the same wheels as your tow car?

I know the 14 fooot ifor jobbies its not uncommon for farmer types to stick landy wheels on to give more ground clearance,same pcd apparently

My trailer is 3.5 ton plant trailer, it is twin axled, wheels are 5 stud 140mm its on Knotts Avonride axles.

Depend on the hub obviously but alot were the old bmc 4 x 100 size

not for 3500kg though !! unless it had 6 axles
