We have a spare washing machine and dishwasher that have been gathering dust (no vacuum cleaner though ) since a kitchen refit and although Nursy keeps badgering me I am loathe to advertise them because I can just foresee the people I'll have to wade through. If I offer them free then I'm effectively inviting all manner of desperados round.

Kids bought me a home brew kit for fathers day, took me ages to find all the other stuff second hand as it was uneconomical to buy new.

I get hacked off with freegle...people locally are getting too picky "looking for red curtains" / "cream rug", "light coloured dining set" etc.... / ebayers looking for free stock / junkies looking for something to pawn for drugs money and many "proper" freeglers have quit due to the nonsense.

I have used Freecycle from time to time, with mixed results. I see many wanted requests that are just as picky - or outrageous - 'Caravan please - must be clean, free of damp and ready to use'.
I get more irritated by listers who respond within minutes then fail to turn up.

We have 2 local charities who have delivery/collection vans and several burly blokes. They will take most household things. On balance we just about succeed in giving them more stuff than we buy! They have had furniture, clothes, books, tools, 'bric-a-brac' etc from us. Unlike many national business-charities they will take electrical goods (and have them checked before resale) and take 'bundles' of stuff and dump totally unsaleable stuff.

Where were you buying your materials, they are not that expensive? As for sediment good beer in bottles has sediment, i.e. bottle conditioned.
