Thinking of buying one as they look good on the spec sheets, any further info on these units? Or maybe the HF151 110v so I can use it on site without any issues? Thanks
Not sure how to do a forum search for members who use one of these so please point me in the right direction. The footage looks very good, do you know if the only difference between the Hf200 and the 151 is the voltage? I would prefer the 200 to save lugging a drop box around, but most sites these day are sticking to the letter of the law, which I guess is understable. Thanks for your help, as I dont want to end up payng out loads and ending with the wrong peice of kit!
What is is you want to know about 'em?
I've got one. Not one of the two you're asking about, though.
I can vouch that it does everything it says it does, and very well too!
Excellent piece of kit!
Not a brilliantly specific answer, I know.
But hey,

Thanks for your replys. I visited the local welding shop repair centre near where I working and was shocked to see no less that 5 Hf151s and 1 hf200 all in for repair. The owner used to stock them but stopped because he said they were too unreliable and kept being returned, he also said that parts were expensive esppecially the PCB. Although he did not slate this unit as he said they may now have ironed out the probelms? As it would be useful to have dual voltage for site work he recomended the the Lincoln v160-2v ( I think thats the model?) Dual voltage and both stick and tig...and expensive at around £1200 with all the bit and bobs that make it possible to weld! Your comments please?
Mick
PS may put this up as a new thread as I need to make a decision soon and need as much feedback as poss, not distrusting you guys obviously!
