Is that a quatermass one?
Before my time really but my mum always used to go on about them and I think I have seen the one (I think) you're on about.
that films called quatermass and the pit filmed to be london underground station
There is only 1 film that gave me jeebies, I s*** bricks and howled my eyes out in fright.Hobbs End. Low budget brilliance, woody acting, but very enjoyable. To me anyway.
I like the vivid colours, and the snapshot of time.
Not as scary as "Night of the Demon" though
I was young, bed time before my older brothers, plagued my parents--plagued them to stay up to watch this film, bigin' it up in front of my older siblings.
Mum was against it, figured it would frighten me but Dad, after epic pestering by myself, got my way, within 25 minutes or so, I was howling, burying my face in Dad's chest, I was s***ing it.
It was the late 60s, it was a Vincent Price film called " The Tingler ".
Of course it's so mild by today's standards but that film ! ejus H, freekin' nightmares for weeks afterwards.
Another was Quatermass and the Pit, not nearly the same frights but could never look at Grasshoppers of Mantises with the same eyes as a child.
To this day I don't view gore or slasher films, unless I force myself to.
