As seen in today I acquired I bought a job lot of imperial and metric micrometres and found this one there may be more like it , I picked it up thinking I best learn how to use these imperial vernier mics but no it was in fact metric with a vernier scale which I have never seen mind I haven't ever been a machinist or toolmaker etc.

Vernier scale 0.002mm per line on the left then standard metric mic readings
Found it intresting a eye opener for me didnt know they where a thing so thought may be intrest to some other members.
