Interview on Monday

Ive been looking for a better job since taking my current one, only took it because it's decent money and easy work, however I'm now bored of it.

The job I'm going for is management/supervising which I have done, but that was through promotion not as a job I applied for.

Any tips from anyone who has done this type of interview? I've already had my suit cleaned, new shirt and tie and got all my qualifications and stuff in a neat little folder, but I'm obviously a little nervous

When asked what your worst failing is say it's your forthright honesty.

Really, I don't think that's a failing.

A bit crude but just remember that the person/people interviewing all p**s and s**t the same as we all do. Be calm and act as if you have known them for a while not like they are scrutinising your every move or answer. They may not even know as much as you do but may have a good poker face to see how you come across. Good luck

I had a meet with the bloke from the recruitment agency, I was working near his office so I rocked up in my van and scruffs and then they wanted to do the proper interview Friday but I said I wouldn't take the mick out of my current employer.

They still need someone with experience but I'm guessing they know my underpinning knowledge is there and they just want to see if I will fit and can handle the management stuff
