Have recently bought a International 444 to do a bit of topping and moving stuff around etc + to save it from the scrappy.
I want to add a hydraulic top link (like linked below) and couple of other implements like a log splitter.
Cat 1 top link (not necessarily this one, just the first one that came up)
From what I can work out it’s currently set up for a single acting tipper trailer, is there a (easy) way to add a spool block etc and have double acting hydraulics?
Or is it better to leave it single acting and use something with a bit more power and double acting hydraulics from factory for a log splitter etc?
The (badly) attached photos show:
1.
2. Side view of engine with hydraulic pump and two lines running back to between drivers legs
3. View from between drivers legs, guessing bigger of the two is feed to the pump?
4. Shows single acting hydraulic fitting on left hand side
You might be able to tell I have limited knowledge of hydraulics so hopefully that all makes sense!
