3/8" brass hex electrical standoffs were done in 6 seconds. Fed out to stop, center drilled, tap drilled, tapped, and cut off and edge chamfered. Length was up to 2" or so.

Yup, one of my hand turret lathes is set up for a similar job.
The round O.D. is turned and Knurled, but the face, center drill, drill & tap is the same,
along with chamfer both ends before parting off.
Here is the cross slide turret set up, the swing bolt is the material stop in this example, other times it is end turret position #1.
