The side repeaters on the Middlebridge are the original Land Rover type and frankly, I don't like them. Looking around for something suitably shaped, I have decided upon the small, squarer Classic Mini stype in the photos (with the LED bulbs). The originals are fixed with a self adhesive gasket, whereas everything else I have seen has the spring clip design for a steel panel and I am not sure that butchering the news ones and sticking them would be good enough.
I need to incorporate them into perhaps 3-4mm fibreglass. Various ways to do it, thinning the panel is one, although a bit daft for obvious reasons. The other is to recess them slightly into the fibreglass and use a steel mounting panel behind. Whatever method I choose, I need to know what the original hole shape looks like, although I can visualise possibilities.
