Bloody hell i feel faint, i just wrote a cheque out for workshop & public liability insurance. was self employed for 20 years first time round then again for the last two years but never bothered before. However i just took on premises & it was a requirement to be insured, thought it was about time!

Depends on the line of business.
All the insurers i contacted hadnt a clue, ok if pen pusher or anything other than unlisted engineering, half stopped me there. The others didnt want to know when said machinery.
Think its a case of the gov clamping down on these, law to themselves.
