Got this migg, and i got no idea wtf anything means on it. anyone got any idea what any of it means? i can use a basic mig but this thing just confuses me...
I would imagine, press MODE, lighting up the led for the mode you want, (trigger normal for beginners)
Then MENU
When each symbol comes up, i would then imagine you use the wire speed knob to adjust the levels you require.
'Time on' and 'Pause time' probably wont come up unless you are in spot or stitch mode.
Cycle through and put in times you want, Start off with 1 in each and see how it goes. Then just adjust as necessary to fine tune it to what you want.
Make sure you go back to wire speed, then i imagine it will run as normal, you have power and wire controls just like a normal mig.
After that, you probably wont hardly ever need to adjust any of it- apart from the power/wire speed obviously
Im only going on what i know from similar setups, so no promises
Yes, i agree with Hitch...
Use the mode button to put it in normal trigger,
i would suggest this to start with: power on 6 or 7 (8),then use the menu button to change between the different menu types: wire speed 7,5 and pregas time on 2, burnback on -4....
You won't need the time pause time thinghy to begin with, you can always use it later! Like Hitch said it's for spotwelding, you can set the times and keep the trigger squeezed and the welder does it automaticly.... when it says HOO!!! it's overheated, haha funny guys those italians!
Like i said, i'm only making a suggestion! every person has it's own settings!
cheers, sorry i havent been on her in a while, been busy restoring my car! havent had another go at the mig yet, will probably give it another shot tonight!
That machine is made by Awelco.
You can download a manual for the current version here. Not exactly what I would call a detailed manual, but better then none at all.
