Inherited a workshop, keeping the welder

Hello all. Joined as I've just inherited my late father's panel fabrication workshop in Cheshire. He had a well-equipped setup for vintage car restoration - Edwards English wheel, folder, guillotine, slip rolls, swager, etc. (most of which I'll never learn how to use and will eventually need to find good homes for)

But I also inherited his welding equipment which I find much more interesting and plan to stick with (no pun intended ). My own experience so far is limited to basic stick welding for DIY repairs. (Saved my neighbour's ride-on mower from landfill by re-welding the broken frame - very satisfying!)

Looking forward to learning from the community and taking on more meaningful projects.

welcome, as the advice above, dont sell anything til you have had a few goes with it all...ive never been a body work guy short of welding sill and what not, my father was always the go to for body work, but over the last year ive gotten some panel work tools and its very theraputic to slowly roll a sheet into something completely different.

Not quite sausage fingers, I’m not good with the precision and attention to detail required for high end engineering

Same reason I’m no good at baking which requires exact measurements
