Hello all. Joined as I've just inherited my late father's panel fabrication workshop in Cheshire. He had a well-equipped setup for vintage car restoration - Edwards English wheel, folder, guillotine, slip rolls, swager, etc. (most of which I'll never learn how to use and will eventually need to find good homes for)
But I also inherited his welding equipment which I find much more interesting and plan to stick with (no pun intended
). My own experience so far is limited to basic stick welding for DIY repairs. (Saved my neighbour's ride-on mower from landfill by re-welding the broken frame - very satisfying!)
Looking forward to learning from the community and taking on more meaningful projects.
