anyone got any duty cycle info about the 160amp ac transformer welder as seen in the Cromwell catalogue?

ut mentions the ocv and input current but little else and for the price in the savers leaflet it looms good. Turbo fan cooled so would hope it has a fairly decent duty cycle

Turbo fan cooled, and low price, normally means shockingly poor duty cycle.
probably why its not stated in the description?

that was my fear. Usually around the 140 quid mark but on offer at something daft like 98 i think.

will give it a miss, only thought of getting it as a back up incase my inverter goes pop, but i doubt it will match 100% @135 amps

Theres a tiny 200amp inverter on german ebay,something like €100 new.i tried to buy it as a back up but he wont post to Ireland.
uk might be another matter
