Evening all............
I'm planning on painting the petrol tank of my bike project myself. I've got an old, hardly used nice Devilbiss spray gun, but cannot find out any information as to whether the nozzle size will be suitable for the job??
I'm a complete novice sprayer, having only used rattle cans over the years for various jobs.
Its a MPS-515 gun, gravity fed, Its got a No3 nozzle and air cap.
I'll be having a good read online and practicing before the job commences, but wanted to make sure I get off to a good start???
I'll be using it to spray the base coat, then clear-coat. I'll let my paint supplier advise me on which flavour......I'll probably primer the tank using rattle cans???
Any info / input welcomed.
cheers
