INE AL180 AC/DC problems

hi guys nice to meet you all.
My first time posting here, got some issues with my AL180 AC/DC welder. The front panel is all push button settings. When I was welding aluminium on AC the welder jumped off its settings and went to DC. It is now stuck on DC scratch start only. Welder starts up okay but cannot change settings on front panel. The only thing that works is the amps. Ps INE are made in Italy I've had it for about 6 years. Any help or advice much appreciated.

Sounds like the switch contacts have welded together.

Thanx for your prompt reply. Could you elaborate on which electrical connection you think may be at fault ie do you think its the electrical connections coming from the push button panel?
