In praise of Halfords

I am going to have to try them out with a couple of the Allen keys from a set that rounded on Chinese stainless cap screws and also the torx sockets that snapped with very little effort.
If I am honest I have been very disappointed with them.

From memory its only been two ratchets one was bought second hand, they are Halfords advanced.
I bought Winchboy the big 200 piece set a few years ago and even though he is a Snap on / Britool nut he thinks its an excellent kit, it gets the most use for his bike

Unbrako are the best I have had but the Teng ones I usually buy are pretty close.

I like Halfrauds too, their bins are full of tools, bike parts, damaged bikes, roof racks, car mats, battery chargers, compressors, and all kinds of goodies. I've got so many bicycle parts and spares I could open a bike shop.

They're both so poor it's hardly worth taking them back when they break, as the replacements will break just as easily.

Was kind of thinking that myself, I was really disappointed as they were supposed to be good stuff, should have just gone with Teng or similar
